Hey brother, your beat down, battered, & depleted. You don’t need anything fucking with your gut. Pull all the damn seasonings and figure that shit out after the show. No fucking around now, you’ll live without the seasonings. I know easy for me to say...but I’m saying it! Drop the goddamn seasonings. [emoji6]

just some random pump stuff today. nothing special or fancy just 4 or 5 sets per muscle except legs and abs. was in a super deep hole yesterday and an even deeper one today. so to say i am moving slow and lethargic would be an understatement. i did have the brainiac idea to jump on the tread this am to possibly give my legs a small break. wrong answer on that one. it made my knees 10x worse and my legs hurt just as bad haha. dry joints and super low body fat are not productive when trying to go hard. no other changes today at all. i did finally get my other cortisol blocking supplement in today and got to take a serving. most likely going to be too little too late but i did add it in. 1 scoop of adaptogen from morphogen nutrition.

done for the day. last cardio session unless i need to further pull water on friday am which i shouldnt. even though i was woozy and hurting going in i was damn motivated to do it and get it over with. i am pretty sure if i would have got on the stairs and tried to give it hell, i would have passed out haha. that and it would have further smoked my legs. everything is done now and i will travel tomorrow and rest then one upper body pump day on friday just to push carbs around. pose with my posing guy and then it's game time. the drying out process and filling back in has began. we will be alternating red meat and turkey tomorrow and for the duration along with either rice or cream of rice. i will probably do a break down of what i looked like once it is over and if that's the plan we end up with. right now 1 meal is 1 cup jasmine and then 1.5 then next back and forth over 7 meals. dandelion root was added in today and my final inj was this am. still feel pretty rough but i am excited to hit it and get it done. been a hell of a long prep, much longer than i like and maybe the hardest to date. def bringing a bigger and more conditioned package right now. i am anxious to see how complete it is once filled out and fully dry.

will have a lucy leblu dieters tea tomorrow night and friday night as well
2 gal today and tomorrow and then over load friday with dyazide added in friday night. that's the flexible plan right now. we shall see with traveling and all what it actually ends up being. that's what i wont put up what i actually do until after.
ok here is the disclaimer on this log. i have been doing this for a very very long time and i started my guinea pigs with the basics from cycle to diet. with that said i dabbled them with 300mg test only for a very long time until i moved them up slowly. i do not advocate what they do but they started at the bottom on everything and worked their way up to what they currently do.
as of friday i was 290lbs on an empty stomach and i am hovering between 9-10% every other week. i havent broke 10% for the duration of the off season. we are gunning for early qual for the spring shows so i dont burn out dieting like last years but wink wink they just opened a show on my side of the country that hasnt been here for 8 years and i really want that title. it is only open to certain veterans and i really feel good that i could win it with ease. but then again the master's nationals and na's are on my radar big time.
feel free to jump in here ask questions, add comments and enjoy the ride for this up coming season
What's up man. I just saw this. You are a big damn guy, 290?? How tall are you? Just curious. I figure you started this before everything, this past spring, got canceled.
You are shooting for the Masters nationals in July now? Are they having the nationals in Niovember this year? I figure they probably cancelled it.
Ì have to read more but I see there are a lot of things you do, that, just luck, I never had to. Somehow, 20 years later I still dont think I'll need to. Fasted cardio, cardio in general. Most I ever did was 30 min 4 X a week.
That is what is really most important, no one can just do what you do or what I do or anyone else and expect it to work. Especially a precontest prep, has to be tailored to each individual. People have this idea that if they are going to compete they HAVE to do fasted cardio for an hour a day or whatever. It's so not true, if I did that I would burn so much muscle forget it. Its great to follow someone more experienced to get an idea. When it comes to yourself you need to take time to figure out what works for you. You
can cut the time this take considerably by using a GOOD, EXPERIENCED coach that REALLY knows what hes doing. They are so few and far between it's not easy to find. It's easy to find guys who will claim to be what I described. 90% of the time they are not.
Anyway, I told you u may do same contest in July depends how my legs react. Will not be near your weight class though.

brother i started this log many years ago as a matter of fact and if you start at page 1 up until now you will see some crazy changes in mindset and approach. i have learned a ton along the way. actually got on with a top tier coach 2 years ago and gave over every aspect for the most part. i know what i am doing but i tend to second guess and not want to pull the trigger on changes i know should be made. actually has taken me a long way in much shorter amount of time
anyway i just finished this national level show and i will roll into the masters nationals most likely for next year. all the other national level shows are still on sched to go on as planned. they moved the masters down to orlando this past week and the regular nationals are in miami still. the team u is still set for october in jersey but it is up in the air. we contemplated continuing on into the masters this year but since i have been going since feb, i feel like my body needs a break plus my doc wants to clean me out and get me healthy before i fire up this off season. so i have to dial back and heal up
