I got the OK from the physical therapist to resume training but am limited to 25 # max weight. I went yesterday and did sitting to standing on metal chair with 10 # kettle bell in each hand pressing them while standing. Also curls with same kettle bell. It felt good doing something.
Can someone recommend a workout for 2 or 3 days a week with 25 # max weight.
Glad you're back in the gym , even if it's with limited weight .
Really bro you can do any type of exercises with 25lb dumbells if you think about it .
Just do what you would normally do but with 25lbs !!!
Good luck brother , and get better !!!
great you are able to get back at it dirt. what i would do and actually what i do myself is regardless of the weight or movement i focus on the full range of motion with a hard contraction for 3-5 seconds at times. that can make even the lightest weight feel good and heavy and drive a good amount of blood in. good luck man and be careful and not jump in both feet first. test the waters out for a little bit haha
A very good training even with the liter weights. Sit to stand with pressing 2 - 10 # kettle bells overhead while standing, I did not count but was a lot. Pausing at bottom and top of each movement to contract muscle. Sholders and legs filled with so much blood arms and leg movement were difficult.
Chess press on machine with 25 # until no more reps could be done.
Arm curls with 2 - 10 # kettle bells until biceps felt like they would explode and was full of blood.
Same with tricep presses.
This along with the extreme quad and ham stretches I get with PT I get a pretty good work out. Oh yeah when I get the stretches at PT I feel like "tapping out" LOL
My flexability is so much better.

Yep! I actually do this through my normal workouts. If I'm not going heavy, I'll take a lighter weight and focus on the the full range of motion squeezing at peak contraction. Man this will make you burn like nothing else. Makes me sore as hell too.
