  • The comeback trail?

Ok guys, 10 weeks ago today I ripped my pectoral. I'm self rehabbing no need to get into that I feel I have the knowledge to do it.

Here's my issue: the last two weeks I've felt like I've regressed in chest training both in strength and pain level. It seemed I was progressing every week until week 8. Range of motion is still good, but that was never the issue due to it being a muscle only tear.

Now guns I confess I haven't gotten into get that technique done and that's on me. I've been insanely busy with work but it's still on me!

Should I just let it rest for a couple weeks or just stick with push ups instead of machines and other exercises I've been doing? Any opinions welcome! Frustrated and impatient in AZ! Lol

i wouldnt take anything at all that is going to mask or hide the pain 6. i would rest it myself personally. maybe hit a few sets to pump the area but nothing to where you feel pain, i also would steer away from fly and stretching movemements until you know you are 100% fully recovered. the stretch is where you are going to really jack it up if it isnt healed up completely. now go get that work done on it, it only takes about 10-30 mins 1-2x per month depending on how aggressive you and the specialist want to get. you can squeeze that time in 1-2 x per month easy haha
