I am by nature skeptical of most things that claim a quick or an alternate "fix", ie; supplements, diets, holistic/alternative meds and such. So when I came across this topic recently I raised an eyebrow and maybe a bit of interest. Does anyone have any first hand experience with this practice and if so please discuss.
I may give it a try for my shoulders and tendinitis in my elbows.
i have no clue max and i really dont get what the wrapping would accomplish other than compressing the area and making movement more difficult. to me i would think that the band work alone would open up and loosen the area up good all on its own
I've been flossing for quite some time now and I swear by it. I've been using it specifically for my knees, quads, ankles, elbows and wrist. Typically, I floss 3-4 times per week and it's definitely helped keep me more mobile and flexible; thereby, allowing greater range of motion without pain.

I use a lot of techniques from Donnie Thompson and Kelly Starrett, although, I lean more towards the videos by DT, because he's 1. a powerlifter and 2. he's a freaking BEAST!

Furthermore, Donnie Thompson is pushing his new "Body Tempering Technique" using these un-godly-heavy-ass metal cylindars called "x-wife" and "x-husband" with a lot of great results. The census is that it's helping a lot of athletes recover quickly and prevent injuries. I'd love to get one; however, they're only available through his gym in South Carolina. I've thought about trying to find a mechinist in the local area to make me one and save on the long drive.

i am going to look them up right now and see what they do. i am certainly not a power lifter but if it can keep their joints and stuff healthy it can damn sure translate over to body building as well
Someone was telling me they have problems with water retention on his ankles and that it helps him with that. I have no clue about it tho, i never tried it.
Pretty cool. Ya, Ive recommended voodoo floss to some people and they seem to like it, but hard to do by yourself on some body parts. Like pin and stretch technique/art with the band doing the pinning. I dont use it but I can see how it could benefit
