  • time to rebuild

So since last summer (still say it had a lot to do with the jab i had to take for work) my wind/endurance was shit and after dr ordered an echo it was determined my present since birth leaking aortic valve was at the end of it's uselful life and would need to be replaced or i was looking at a year maybe two tops. My pcp said it was actually my blasting in the gym that was the reason i was still alive as it forced my heart to pump the blood where it needed to go so it was working harder and if i was a sedentary sloth i'd already be dead. took awhile for wife to convince me to do it. after a couple false starts and postponement with the fakedemic cancelling surgeries i had aortic valve replaced, aortic aneurysm repaired and a single arterial bypass done on Feb 28th. been back to work since 2 weeks post surgery, been in the gym since 5th week after and been steadily increasing weights and reps to get back to where i want to be. bloodwork a month ago showed my test levels were 24ng/dl total testosterone and 4.7 ng/dl free testosterone and one of the meds i was on for a month after surgery caused my thyroid to be quite low. thyroid is back to normal and running test to bring things back to where i want. on a mission to be a 55 year old beast again.
You may not recognize your mom when you get home, I shaved her back.

I don't have an ego, i just love how awesome i am !!

man you are very very lucky. they say the aortic anurism(sp) is what boston lyod dropped dead from. it's like a ticking time bomb and can rupture at any time and 9 out of 10 times it is fatal. if you had a bypass done as well i would be leary of pushing hefty doses anymore and would probably opt for more of a hrt plus at most. since you already have plaque build up going on then you are already at risk so that's just my thoughts but glad you got that fixed and are back on the mends

Perfect advice. Nothing like yours, but 4 years ago I had a heart attack. Totally changed everything for me. I now get my bloodwork done every 6 months and I just cruise on a trt like dose. Good luck to you buddy
