i am sorry you cannot legislate people into making good food choices and exercise. our first lady's school lunch program is a bust. it drives up the cost of the lunches and creates incredible amounts of waste.

Its ridiculous. My sister is autistic and due to that She will only eat specific things. She just won't eat anything but a few certain foods.

That new law, the school system tried to not let us pack lunch for her and she had to go all day 31st school not eating anything for a few days. I in a polite way told them I was going to put a boot in their ass if they ever mentioned that law again. She brings her lunch now needless to say.

before we start legislating and all the other happy horse shit the gov thinks is best lets back up a smidge. i have made this point in the past but i will make it again. first thing they did to screw our children and increase the obesity rate is cutting recess and physical education from all schools programs. that is the beginning of inactiviy and for some kids could be the only activity they get for the day. the presidential physical fitness test and awards was also dumped. i know you guys remember the mile run, pull ups situps and sit and reach stretch testing done 2 times per year. this is one of the main causes of increase in obesity. now they also cut athletic programs as well due to lack of funding, so even more kids are missing out on physical activity. if we need to cut programs then lets cut music and art. if aspects of those are important they will be covered in history. i am again going to go back to when we were growing up and even further. we ate horrible foods that were full of nasty stuff and loaded with fat. i only remember a few over weight kids from my entire school experience and their entire family was usually big also. we dont need more legislation we need to go back to our freaking roots

Yea that's right. But they don't think about what's good for you. They would rather have us be fat lazy and complient with whatever they say. Its easier to control people if the gov. keeps them unhealthy and drugged up like they like to do.

your sis is a perfect example. the gov cannot tell me what to eat. I do not need a food nanny. and just look at the soda ban in NY. 1 it did not work. and 2. it was repealed as it did not work.

just like mrs. obama's plan which wasted thousands of tons of food a week
