The avocado oil is great. I like it because there is no taste and it is a thinner oil too so I have used it in my homemade body product concoctions

I've never used the avocado oil. May have to give that a try. I've always been a huge fan of coconut oil.

              Where is lard in this?

If you have never had chicken fried in lard you are missing out on one of life's greatest pleasures.

              Healthy? no.....

french fries or pretty much anything fried in it. stuff makes everything taste better. i dont believe it kills you any faster than the garbage we take in today. the people that lived on it are still healthy and kicking it for the most part today.

Guns, I agree. saturated fat by itself is not bad for you. Sugar intake is bad for you and saturated fat and sugar together is really bad for you. "A 22-year study of saturated dairy fat consumption found no difference in risk between high-fat and low-fat consumers.[12] In fact, people who ate more butter had significantly higher levels of heptadecanoic acid, a saturated component of butterfat, and a 42% lower risk of stroke." Is Saturated Fat Bad for You? Here's What You Need to Know

Baby, I am from the deep south. In the spring we would have big picnics with family and friends from our church. The people cooking did not do burgers or hotdogs but fried chicken! It is one of my fondest memories.
