tats one thing I have not told Fuzo yet "I told you so". I just smile when he realizes it and his realization is enough gratitude for me. Kudos to you for 28 years, obviously something is working
exactly, i have the same issue as well, so much so that i hate traveling anywhere that is over an hour away cause it freaking kills me. another trick i learned from the chiro and my therapist is to roll the glutes as well as the lower back out really well. i was just going through the motions on glutes and hams and once i started hitting them more regularly it helped my back out even more.
I have started using a lifting back brace while doing exercises that require stability from my back. It has really helped me be able to do more of those types of exercises (such as cable tricep pulls, cable curls, etc). I have yet to get to the shoe place - too many things going on at one time - but it is a priority this week. Just wanted to give you all an update.

your trainer prob already told you this but if not i will. try to only use the belt/support on your heavier sets if at all possible. that way you dont develop a strength imbalance over time which will make the problem even worse in the long run
Could be like guns said injuries at are age take there toll ,just take some ibuprofen see if that helps ,do some stretching but be careful, start doing more machines, stop doing some stuff that aggravates it. Listen to our temple, when it says slow down we must slow down
