Woke up this morning to the sound of gun shots. I grabbed my pistol and looked around. What I thought were gun shots were frozen trees cracking. It looked like a frozen wonderland. Everything glistening and all white. Upon further looking around it looked as if a bomb exploded. Downed power poles and trees. At my rental a whole tree (not small but a 70' monster) snapped off talink a pole, wires and weather head down. I have been running all day to get stuff done.

It usuall doesn't get this cold. This is a freak storm. Most of the time in winter it never get below 40 but most of the time about 60Comment

Ugh, that sounds horrible. Luckily we do not have ice here often. My old jeep was great in it but now my little turbo car with summer tires will spin and go no where.

Damn, that sucks. Those storms will wreak havoc. We have now had more snow already than we had all last winter. Its snowing about every week now. And cold as hell. I want to go to the gym tonight but if the roads are a sheet of ice then fuggit, im stayin home and do 20 sets of pushupsComment
