What are y'all doing for New years eve?

We normally sit around and watch TV, I will enjoy a nice scotch or two and fall asleep by 10:30.

Anyone still go to parties?

hell no, probably not in 10-15 years. to many drunk people out and i like to be in bed asleep at the latest 930. it takes me forever to get back on track after a late night. idk if the mrs has anything planned but i was joking about going a city over for their drop and she said that sounds good. haha, i am hoping she is joking

Will probably be snoozing by 9 but if stay up, I might try to see the fireworks from the top of pikes peak with some binoculars.
They call it amateur night since most of the partiers have little experience driving drunk. Best to stay home

I had a couple friend groups invite me to their new years eve get together, but I hate going out on that night. I have a couple family members who are firefighters/EMT and they say that is the worst night to go out. I stayed home and watched movies.

i dodged the bullet on going to do what the mrs wanted because it rained. plus i pointed out the same thing your family members did. it is not a safe night to be out and about. not to mention having to go through all the dui check points they will have set up all over the place. was in bed by 10 haha which is late for me
