  • In my efforts to eat very clean...

    I realized I was really eating gluten free. So I have only been eating like this for about 10 days but do feel a bit better. I really decided to get more strict in hopes of helping body inflammation. Although, I am not completely pain free, I feel somewhat better. Mornings are a killer still but eventually it gets better. My next thing is to get my butt back in the gym but I have to go easy and I tend to overdue it when I feel good but I am going to try not to.

    I decided to have a "cheat" and ordered a grilled chicken kabob pita sandwich and within a 1/2 hour I had some of my usual symptoms going on. Now this was NOT a gluten free pita so I am thinking I am gluten sensitive. I was tested via endoscopy with biopsy for celiacs 3 years ago and it was negative. I guess it may have changed but I think just a combo of things and gluten sensitivity may be a big part of the issue. I am still going to maintain this and throw some gluten back in a week or so and see what happens.

    The weird thing is one of my sisters is 3 years older than me and just started with the same intense facial bone pain that I get that no one has told me what it is. I still think there is a genetic component to what us mud age women in my family get but probably will never know that. So I just sit with frozen veggies on my face to numb the pain when it happens.

    This woman crap is going to be the death of me, or of Fuzo,lol

      one thing to consider having check is your gut content to make sure your bacteria is in the correct and right ranges. then check your zinc levels. this can also cause a host of both digestive and other body issues. now this may be a bit harsh but i saw this the other day and thought it was pretty cool. for one week you eliminate diary, wheat, and gluten. then after one week you add back in diary for one day (check your bodies reaction) next day add in some wheat products(same thing) then finally a bit of gluten products(again same thing) this will help you to pin point your trigger factors to a t and enable you to get rid of them for good. something else they recommended was to get tested and get your pre and probiotics appopriate to your stomach needs. and dont forget the zinc.

      as for the facial bone issues, do you clinch or grind your teeth when you sleep? this could be the cause and or excessive stress causing stress head aches or also teeth clinching. my mom has that issue so that was just a thought

        Thanks guns. I get my pro and pre biotics from foods. I cant use the supps for to long cause they cause all over body pain.

        The oral surgeon has ruled tmj out. this is the same facial pain that I experienced years ago when I had a systemic sepsis infection. I do feel there is a connection but highly doubt I will ever know. I will continue to try to figure it out with nutrition and just might do as you suggested. I have another sister who is working with a dietician right now and is doing that sort of thing so I am waiting to see how it goes for her

          i already knew about the pre and probiotics stuff esp since i dont consume any diary while dieting. i didnt know about the zinc causing issues with guts pain and tiredness though. i take a tab of zinc every day cause it helps keep hormones balanced lol. something i did last year and i am doing this year as well is adding small amounts of sour kraut to some of my meals. it is awesome for digestion and has helped me out a ton. i am actually able to eat broccoli this year so far and before it bloated me gave me the runs and cramps something fierce. so the added fiber is helping me now not hindering with the addition of the kraut

              mix it in some extra lean ground turkey with some mustard. tastes almost the same to me, or at least as close as you can get to it. my wife eats it with the chicken sausages on her low and zero carb days so she can hit her calorie numbers for the day
