TweetIm not going to respond to the ridiculous remarks in the first portion of your comment regarding the military service of our troops.
As to the second part, I appreciate being called a probably OK guy, it makes me feel good, I can sleep tonight knowing that AOM thinks Im probably a pretty OK guy. Second, I would not drink a beer with you, as I do not drink (DrugFree For Life). Thirdly, I think when one has a broader understanding of right and wrong, after reading and studying and walking in the Word...the tunnel vision goggles are taken off. Its those who refuse to walk in the Word and see the world as it is that are blinded and wearing blinders.
This is all I have to say on this thread.

TweetWe always drink the wine and eat the bread? You no partake?? All this talk of flesh; i have to go now.
TweetHey Hey now. I am from Non Denomination and we eat and drink and parrrrtake brother! Non Denomination just means we don't have "religion", we have a "relationship with Christ". Religion just gets people arguing. hmmmmm
TweetWhat im saying in joking is there are many that don't and are non denominal. Hey, you sound like man? Is someone else talking here? Oh, i see religion just makes ppl argue, lol! This is just getting too weird. Im out of here.
TweetI have friends and family that are gay, I was brought up un a strict Catholic family. Everyone is saying how immoral they live they're lives, there are many married heteresexuals that do many immoral things and not with their spouses, the gays that I have been friends have more of a stable and monogamous relationship than most marriages I see or that you read about. Just my point of view, my husband disagrees with me on this issue, but thats ok because we all are entitled to what we believe!
TweetWith Out Holiness, No Man shall see God. It's in the book. GLORY!!;0
TweetAny how, we should all look at it this way... When you are in a situation you should think to yourself, Would God do this? Would he involve himself in this? If the answer is no then you have your answer. The Bible says that even the Demons believe in Jesus and tremble, doesn't mean they are going to heaven. Everyone who has a Bible please read the book of Colossians. It's some good good good eatin'. I read it last night and it really spoke to me and I think it will some of you. Read it, it's only 4 or 5 short chapters. Read it and tell me what it speaks to you. Ready? Read!
TweetLet us open another can of worms. Maya, what if ppl beleive in different faiths than you and do not believe in your Bible then what? You believe this because you were brought up or used your own experiences to believe this. Who are you or anyone in their own belief systems going to convience someone else what is right and what is wrong. If someone believes in Mohamad would you say he/she will be without Holiness?, or that they will have damn nation. Many ppl also belive the Bible/Scripture was brought down by many hundreds of yrs with no scientific proof or data confirming, and also that many of the words have been re-written so many times that the real meanings are not even accurate in todays Bibles. Many of us who are christian take the word into different meanings to justify our own beliefs in its interpetations as everyone is different and will take the word differently. If i were to take a passage from the scripture and tell you to explain and then ask another they most likely will give a differing answer depending on their background, beliefs, etc. One is not to judge another in their thoughts and beliefs as we are all mortal humans. Job 12:7-10 "But now ask the Beast, and they will teach you; and the birds of the air, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you; and the fish of the sea will explain to you. Who among all these does not know that the land of the Lord has done this, In whose hand is the life of every living thing, and the Breath of all mankind?
TweetMick...I respect your opinion but who needs proof when you have FAITH.
Some thoughts on your other statements is that we are also suppose to spread the word. The bible is everything we need to live. Nothing less. An answer is in there for every situation were in and if its not we pray.
Ciph
TweetI don't think that you read my post correctly. Please re-read. Not everyone believes in the Bible. Cipher, i respect your opinion, but your post just confirms what i said above. Also, there are ways of spreading "The Word" without being calious or in trying to make ppl believe in your own interpetations. The biggest ways this is done is through your actions, relating to others, and what one does for another. Also what "man" has done to the earth, air, waters, and to every living animal. Do most of us do anything or care about this?? I and my wife are involved in these areas and give to wildlife organizations, and animals killed and tourtured for use in lab experiments when they can use other means for experimentation. These are also things we do to help preserve what we have, but how many actually do anything, but talk?? The "Word" means nothing without action. Getting back to the discussion of gay marriage, lol! Our society will deem what will pass on gay marriage, just as with abortion. Whether it is right or wrong will sadly not make much difference.
TweetOne's belief in the Truth doesn't negate the Truth. As for explaining the immorality of the homosexual lifestyle to a non Christian, what about natural law, the natural order of life? Besides, the vast majority of the world's population is either Christian, Jewish or Muslim and all three consider it a disordered and immoral act.
Tweetwho's judging? I didn't say w/out holiness no man would see God. God said it and who am I to question it? The bible is so simple. It has instructions and everyone wants to argue about what it "really" says. The word is revealed as it is. The Holy Spirit convicts others to believe what the word says. That's his job, not mine. If other people have different faiths then that's between them and God. It's a shame that people try to complicate what the word says. "Well what about this, and how about that and how do you this and bla bla bla. It's silly.
TweetWell there you have it. Well said Kite
