    very close fight, the judges were all over the place which just shows there is no set way to evaluate and it is still very subjective. granted some of it is where the judge is oriented. they may miss key round winning elements. but as a whole some may score take downs higher than effective striking or sub attempts higher than lay and pray (not the case for most, i think most judges think if you are on top you are winning)

    anyway, cruz did what he does. feint slip dodge fade and then pop pop, he is so good at catching a guy right at the split second he is off balance. TJ has great TD defense but go taken down several times even though he popped right back up.

    was a fair fight to watch. one could make a compelling argument for either guy. i am satisfied it went to cruz.

    travis "eye poke" browne. damn. half the thumb disappeared into mitrione's eye socket. he fought with a closed eye, got emotional and then got TKO'd.

    alvarez is a grinder. pettis just could not get room to work.
