Lrts break down this last cerrone fight.We all know Dnald comes out slow and he got a knee that caught him and that was the blow that started the onslaught of punches. So lets be technical does everyone really count Connor our or not fighting Rafeal if that fight happens

Man, that is a tough one to predict. 155 in general is going to be tough for Conor but I wouldnt count him out to beat DosAnjos.
I had a long day, can't think technical right now, haha.
I'd say if Conor get an immediate title shot at 155 he might win and get his 2 belts. If he has to climb the ladder at all at 155 I think he would run into some serious trouble.
I'm sure Conor would have some more pep being able to keep an extra 10lbs pre fight for weighins too. Not sure if I have seen someone look more dried out in my life when he makes 145.

RDA is a monster. no one has pressed connor. i think pressure is the way to beat him. standing on the outside and letting him counter does not pan out. rushing in while throwing bolos does not either

one must use volume of technical strikes to get inside. mendes did a good job until he gassed out. i think frankie will get busted up. connor is too accurate for that in and out of frankie.

RDA might be the one. also at 145 connor is huge. RDA will match his size at 155

i feel i have a great ability to understand what should happen in a fight and if utilized which fighter should win. but game planning is a huge +. how many times have we seen a better fighter loose because a bad gameplan. Connor's accuracy is freakish. he has never really been hurt even though he took some big shots against mendes. his foot work is crazy good. his size at 145 gives him a big advantage.

but i agree at 155 and against RDA he will have a damn huge test.

idk about moving up. i think it could hinder his cardio a bit in the transition. i also say why should a fighter be allowed to move up and immediately roll through all the other guys that are waiting in line. that's kind of messed up to me. could he do it? hell yeah most likely but why would you move out of where you are dominating at the moment?

I agree guns as far as him skipping the line. Maybe if he really cleaned out his division for a few years but that certainly is not the case. He wants to be a two division champ but part of being a champ in a division is working your way up the ranks at least a little!
A lot more guys could be champions if they got to skip the line.
I am pretty amazed by conor but the only thing that bothered me during this rise to stardom is that he was given this stature before he earned it. Has he backed it up? Absolutely..

I agree guns as far as him skipping the line. Maybe if he really cleaned out his division for a few years but that certainly is not the case. He wants to be a two division champ but part of being a champ in a division is working your way up the ranks at least a little!

more muscle/weight is going to give you much more power yes but it needs and has to have more oxygen to function. it takes a pretty good amount of time to develop cardio to carry and use that additional size/weight esp when he has been cutting down to hit a weight class for a good bit now. i would say it would take a good 6-12 months to have the same cardio/conditioning to fight with the same gas tank as he has now

who knows. he wants 2 belts i guess. connor believes he is a world beater. this is part of why he is so dangerous. he truely believes he cannot be beaten. doubt is a terrible enemy. hubris is an enemy too but he has shown his ability to overcome everything thrown at him

I lost my train of thought in my post. I was saying I have a good idea of who should win but when a fighter has a bad gameplan even if they are more talented and stronger ect they can loose. and lately that has happened.
