Very cool. Love McGregor. The UFC and cage fighting in general is one of the most unforgiving sports. Months of training and blood sweat and tears and in under 20 seconds your lying on your back and your night is over. On the flip side, must have felt incredible to be Connor last night. What an awesome couple months, Rousey got her ass kicked and McGregor with a huge win. Couldn't have gone better.

I have been hearing about this fight from Fuzo for the past week. I feel like I know McGregor, lol. Fuzo so was so excited he was yelling then came in the room and woke me up. He gets into his fights...ya think?lol

he backed up his shit talking for sure. and he took almost no damage in the effort. aldo's game plan to box was poor. he should have used the length of his kicks to negate the reach of connor, who also fights in tight very well even though he is the longer fighter.

what a shake up. rousey, aldo, weidman all lost. now the UFC was in a tizzy over rousey loosing as she was so marketable, but mcgregor is just as marketable and speak English. it is hard for no Brazilian fans to really embrace aldo as his communication comes through an interpreter.

shocking fight. i really thought aldo would chew up connor's legs and win by taking out his base but he chose to box. wish it went 2 rounds at least.

I am glad McGreggor won but i am not so sure he will do as well if he moves up in weight class. I know he has trouble getting to the 145 pound mark but it gives him that edge. When he is 10 pounds heavier he will be in with the big boys. They all have the same reach as he does. Connor claims they are all slow and flat footed at 155 but did you see Dos Anjos tear up Cerrone? That was not slow and those were significantly powerful punches compared to what they toss around in the 145. I don't see Connor doing very well at all in that bigger division

I agree, 155 is a different animal. If he gets an immediate title shot he certainly has a chance to get his 2nd belt. if he had to climb the ladder at all, not sure he would fair too well.
My money would be on DosAnjos.
