I don't think he "sucks" really and it may just be inexperience on his part. I just don't think he has what it takes to make it right now and he has a very limited amount of time to learn all of this stuff because of his age. Not everyone is a Randy Couture. I think he could have been good had he started about 10 years earlier. His wrestling is basically all he had on most of his opponents. As we saw in the Randy fight, his strength isn't some crazy Hulk strength or anything because Randy handled him pretty well for a small guy. Randy said himself that his size and strength didn't bother him at all, it was his reach.
I'll put it like this....I think out of 10 fights Tim Sylvia beats Brock at least 7 times.

But he has been exposed in a few fights. His wrestling/strength was exposed in the Couture fight...it wasn't as "great" as it was played out to be. And Carwin and Cain both showed that he can't take a punch without completely going fetal. One devastating beat down by a much smaller fighter shows a lot....not counting the previous fights that he has had. He won them, but has not done anything outstanding in any of the fights, IMO.

brock was top coaches, eric paulson is a sub wrestler who is well known as a top 5 MMA grappling coach and Medeiros is an incredible BJJ coach. he has , greg nelson, marty morgan and welch who is a top boxing coach. he has a really great camp.
his prob is as tn94z said he goes fetal after getting tagged. this shouldnt happen after years of training, yes years he started middle of 06.
as for randy and brock. randy has better wrestling technique for MMA. brock is stronger. anyone who has done bjj knows there is always a big gorilla that crushes everybody with sloppy BJJ due to size and strength. they can bully until they meet a guy with better technique and can use angles to counter the strength.
brock is a bully, if he cant bully an opponent he will loose every time
