Strikeforce heavyweight champion, Alistair Overeem has admitted that there are currently a lot of opportunities for him in the world of MMA. He has hinted that he might make a jump to the UFC for a big time fight with current UFC Heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar.
Speaking via FightHype.com, Overeem said:
“I like to be the aggressor in a fight. I like to build up pressure for the opponent. I completely dislike dull fights; go do something else. It’s a fighting sport. That means fighting/ I am negotiating right now with my management. There are a lot of opportunities, but I would love to fight Brock Lesnar to unify the Strikeforce and UFC belt.”
First though, Lesnar will have a tough challenge ahead of him when he returns to the octagon from a serious injury to take on UFC Interim Heavyweight champion, Shane Carwin at UFC 116 on July 3.
