He would have won if it had went to decision too. He transitioned to mount, from mount to side control, pretty much north south, sub attempts, etc....he would have won it anyway. But I agree that he didn't look good. But that is how he has always fought..that's what got him a championship

Good call...if it happens. Usually when they say something that quick, it doesn't happen. They just try to use it to build hype. But if he does, then great. I want to see him fight again

You are right. Kimbo has stated in an interview that he is on the card for the finale, so we will see him fight again for sure.

The outcome maybe but that is his fighting style. The thing that sucks is his timing is so easy for other fighters to figure out. He needs to mix it up a little more. He threw a good leg kick last night. He seems to do all of the Muay Thai stuff very well in training, but when he gets under pressure in the ring, he just forgets that stuff. I mean, he didn't even hardly attempt to get up last night.

I agree. I knew Nelson would have his way with Kimbo on the ground but that doesn't mean I like him. I like Kimbo much better and after seeing him on the show, I like him even more. He seems to be very intelligent and down to earth.
I think the difference between the Kimbo we see on the show and the Kimbo that Strikeforce was trying to promote are the promoters. This just goes to show how smart the UFC is. Strikeforce was almost promoting him as a streetfighting thug. TUF show is promoting him for the person that he is.

Yeah, but regardless of the force of the punches, the rule is the rule. If a fighter is not intelligently defending himself, then the ref has to call it. They don't have to be trauma enducing punches.
The only way Kimbo was going to win that fight was with a KO. Otherwise, Nelson would have him outscored anyway. It may not have been pretty or a bangfest but Nelson won it no doubt about it.

they make rules for a reason.... i like kimbo... he just isnt at the top of his game yet... gettng ko'd by seth pertizelli who took the fight with 7 hours notice cause it was in his home town.. and being tko'd by big country. kimbo is very likeable but it doesnt change the fight. you can look at fights from an emotional point of view and play favorites ... ***** piss and moan about the outcome but the winner is still the winner. how u or I feel about the fight doesnt mean shit to the ufc... just like every weekend some dude is arm-chair quater back.
