    I am a member of BJ's website and he has been posting videos of his training for the GSP fight. I have watched all of them and believe me when I tell you, he is training the right way and training his ass off. He is also very active on his website as well. He also does video blogs.....one of the better fighter sites I have seen really. He is not taking GSP lightly!!

      I guess your right, I shouldn't bring up the Matt Hughes thing. I mean he beat BJ when you say Hughes was washed up or whatever in 06', yet GSP absolutley destroyed Hughes not 2 months later. I guess you can now make the excuse that BJ wasn't in good shape then but now he is or whatever. Or that Hughes went from top form to a bum in 2 months. Plus while I agree for the most part that BJ really hasn't been rocked that much or whatever, he just has one of those faces that doesn't get that messed up. I mean after the GSP fight everyone was like look at GSPs face its more beat up looking than BJs so BJ won, yet GSP landed quite a few blows. Look at BJ Hughes 2. Matt ends the fight raining down clean shots for like a full minute and BJs face still looked normal to me. Some people can just take more punishment than others i guess. side note: I fight I would like to see would be BJ vs an in shape Karo Parisian.

        Oh yea, "GSP can take BJ down and then what? Bj is too active for him to pound him out." He wasn't too active for Hughes to pound him out yet there is no way GSP can? thats just crazy. When you are dealing with fighters on this high of a level they are both very capable of finishing each other with any technique you can use, submission, TKO, KO .....sure, certain things are more likely to happen than others, but ruling out the possibility of a KO or whatever is just plain silly. There is a first for everything. ie Crocop getting his head kicked into the 3rd row.

          You keep bringing up the Hughes and BJ fight. You do realize that BJ had a broken rib in that fight right?

            I brought it up again because you made it sound as if BJ lost to Hughes in his prime while GSP beat Hughes when he was washed up. Just saying that anything can happen and I'm not ruling out any possible outcome with this fight. Plus, I would like to hear any fighter say they are truely 100% healthy for any fight. A lot of guys fight hurt, and I'm sure BJ would never use having a broken rib as an excuse for a loss. Couture beat Gonzaga with a broken arm if I remember correctly.

              Man win BJ beat Hughes it was in 2004 when Hughes was at his peak. The next time they fought was in 2006 when Hughes was washed up and BJ had a broken rib.

              GSP lost to Hughes in 2004 when Hughes was in his prime. The next time they fought was in 2006 and 2007 when Hughes was washed up.

              When Hughes was in his Prime BJ beat him and GSP lost to him. Not to mention the fact that BJ had to move UP to 170 to beat Hughes.

              Couture had a hairline fracture in his arm after he broke Gonzaga's nose. Also, fracturing your arm and breaking a rib are two different things. The arm is painful but with a broken rib it is life threatening because it could possibly puncture your lungs...not to mention that you can't breathe with a broken rib. While both painful, they are two totally different things man

                  I understand what you are saying and i know when they both fought and whatnot. It would also be easy to say that when GSP fought Hughes the first time GSP was the better fighter yet he beat himself by being mentally weak as Hughes was his idol at the time and he just got psyched out. All I was trying to prove was that both fighters have had weaknesses exposed once or twice and you never can tell how these things will go when you have 2 of the best pound for pound fighters going at it. Again, injuries hapen and all fighters fight with them. Frank Shamrock fought not that long ago with a completly torn ACL i believe and did very well, although he lost cause he plays to the crowd like an idiot and not to win most of the time. You don't have to convince me that BJ is the man cause i think he is, I just simply think GSP is a better 170.

                              You know when Penn loses everyone is just going to say that it was becuase be moved up in weight class to fight GSP... lets hear em, what are the excuses going to be when Penn loses??
