Comeback Complete – Mir KO’s Nogueira to Win Interim Heavy Title Thomas Gerbasi, UFC - Take the word “former” away from Frank Mir’s name, as the Las Vegas native completed an amazing career comeback Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena by dominating and stopping Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira in the second round to regain a portion of the UFC heavyweight title he never lost in the Octagon.

Re: Mir KO’s Nogueira to Win
Mir looked better than he looked when he first came in to the UFC. Brock is in trouble now. It is one thing to fight Mir when he isn't confident with his standup...now he is confident. So now he will stand and bang with Brock and then what?? Brock can take him down but that will be a big mistake.
I felt bad for Nog man..he is such a good guy and this is a sign that his age may be getting to him. He has never been stopped...although in Pride that let the fights go longer. I think they could have let it go a few more seconds...but I like Mir too."He woke up because I kept punching him in the face." --Thiago Alves
