not yet bro..I like them equally and watch both..prefer pride but the masses dont really know much about them...since its in Japan but if you followed the sport since the beggining or atleast the last decade you can appreciate Pride alot..I know Fedor subbed hunt and Barnett lost to Nog. I also read that it was a weak night fight card wise and most of the top fighters looked "off" on the Pride card. Hats off to my fav fighter Fedor winning AGAIN!!!

Pride is like the Majors, UFC is the minors. Anyone fighting in either though are badass. Cant discredit any of those guys.

I would have to disagree with that bro. There is no way that the best guy in pride is that much better than the best guy in UFC. That's like saying the best light heavy weight is similar to Barry Bonds and the best light heavy weight in UFC is similar to the best HR hitter in minor league baseball. That's light years apart! If you put the #1 of each one's weight class in a title match I know for a fact that Pride would not take every class, no phuking way.

You're probably right on that one T-man, however looking at each league as a general whole, the guys in Pride are much more intense, skilled, and fun to watch than the guys in UFC. Again, I dont discredit them at all, but its the truth bro.

I agree with most of that Tman but I have been watching Pride and Ufc since 95 and I do notice that Pride cards are Usually better cards ONLY because they put the best fighters against one another most of the time...You rarely see a top fighter take on a puss. I will say the UFC is getting a whole lot better at there matchups and signing better fighters, but if you want the BIG money you got to Pride, but that is changing as of recent. I see Dana paying more lately and hope it continues because UFC needs to pay more to keep the elite fighters from going to Pride. But the signing of Rampage and Crocop is a GREAT thing for UFC!!! There both unique in there repects.

Mark my words, in 3 years the UFC will take over boxing in this country and in 5 years UFC fighters will make more money per fight than boxers. It's a much more entertaining fight to watch. And, if Dana White continues to pay more and more for the best fighters they will take guys from Pride. However, if he's really smart, he will sit down with the owners of Pride and figure out how to get both of them boosted world wide. Kinda like the NFC vs the AFC. If they are smart business men, they could have not only their respective title fights but also a true World Title where the best from each one meets once a year to fight in every weight class. They divide the fights up so that a couple weight classes fight in different locations with a few under card fights as well. It would become the biggest world wide PPV event. That is, if they are smart business men. Maybe I should sell my ideas to Dana White and get into the consulting business. LOL
