I love the gymnastics most. Beach Volley Ball then Men's and women's diving as well. As for the virus; if I was at child bearing age as a woman I would think twice. Otherwise it's just like a long flu so far. Training all your life for an Olympic Team is an extremely compelling reason to participate. If Baseball was still in the games I would encourage my own son to go and participate. Once-in a-lifetime experience.

The whole russian olympic team? I thought it was just the track & field team. Either way it sucks. Its always better having russia.

I like seeing the underdog countries win some gold. Countries that have no money to compete with the huge corporate sponsored countries

or the favela (ghetto) triathlon you have to outrun guys trying to chop you up with machetes, swim across a lake of raw sewage and steal a bike and make it to a safe zone before the raw sewage eats through your skin. winner does not get gold but a shower.
