Not that I know of pudgy, the guy was one of the top engineers over at NASA, I just found out this morning, I will keep you updated on the details.....
Sorry to hear about it too. I just bought a new Harley that arrives in April. And again typically it's not the bike riders fault, it's the others....It's better to burn out, than to fade away...

I am sorry to hear about your friend. Nobody deserves to die like that.
Now for something unrelated to your friend. For the people who say "that's why I don't have a bike cause they are too dangerous bla bla bla". Defensive driving plays a big role in how you survive on the street. You don't just jump on a bike and start day dreaming. You always have to pay attention. Why do you think they are banning people from talking on cell phones and driving cars? Granted, if you get in an accident on a bike, chances are you can be hurt bad but it is the word IF. Cars don't see bikes all that well and they can't judge there speed either. If you drive defensively on a bike, it makes a world of difference. Driving a car is not at all like driving a bike. They are completely different mentally. I know plenty of people that are killed in car accidents too. That doesn't mean I am not going to get a car. And again, this does in no way imply that your friend wasn't paying attention. I'm just ranting about people thinking bikes are too dangerous.
