I knew 3 people who died last year on bikes, thatz why I sold mine, screw it, bikes are the biggest death traps of all. Plus I have a 1-1/2 year old daughter and wouldn't want her to lose her father over some damn bike. Sorry to hear about that bro.

Many prayers to you and the family. We lost a close friend a year ago to a bike accident. Made us sell ours. So sorry.

I found out some more details. He was cruising on a fairly major road and someone in a truck pulled out from a side road and hit him. Knocked him 40 feet from the scene. He was always really careful on his bike, I figured it was someone else's fault.

I ride my bicycle alot and I've come to the conclusion it's not the biker that's the problem....it's the person in the other vehicle that doesn't care about bikers that's the problem.
