Totally agree, and it is not just the NFL it is the NBA and MLB that are also getting soft.

These games are not even any fun to watch anymore. The refs are ruining the game. You can no longer p-lay football the way it used to be played. Its impossible to not lower your head when you play football and are crashing into people at full speed. They are throwing penalty flags now for things that used to be considered good football. Its really pathetic. Now it is a 15 yard penalty. If this keeps going this way, Im going to have to seriously cut back on watching this crap

yep and it's going to slow the game way down as well as make a lot of missed tackles as well.
Players are complaining that its physically impossible to play by those rules. One guy said they want u to be a turtle and pull your head inside your shell. They are saying that if you do a perfect form tackle now, its a 15 yard penalty. If this crap continues into the season, this is going to really suck. Football is being ruined as a sport. This is like boxing saying you can no longer punch someone in the face. This is no longer the same game.
They said there is a new rule that says when u sack a QB, you cant put your body weight on him when you go to the ground. If you put your body weight on him, your team is penalized 15 yards..wtf are you kidding me?
