Early October my brother and I went to Lake Fork for a bass fishing trip. Being from the northeast it was quite the experience..The people were so friendly and the bass were huge!
Already booked my next trip for an early April bachelor party..working out has taken a back seat bit I've been having some fun!
I have fished fork 2x with a guide, I never caught a big girl (over 10#) but came close with an 8 that was spawned out.
nice fish man. I was there last november with skeeter my guide and hooked a monster on a topwater. had 30# braid on and she went into the grass. never saw her but my line went limp and pulled my bait out and the rear trebles were bent straight.
probably my trophy 10#r.
glad you had a great trip. november and early december is a great time to catch big # of bass. I am going out there in the spring with my kayak to fish for big girls. at least that is what I hope

Sounds like that was quite the fish you had on!
I actually straight the hooks on one too right near one of the bridges. There was an old underwater bridge that was right next to a new one..there were a bunch of big ones sitting right there.

If you want to share Intel let me know..I have 2 guides booked for April 8, 9th, and 10th!!!
