Rich Piana RIP 1971-2017

Pro bodybuilder Rich Piana was placed into a medically induced coma this week after suffering a medical emergency at his Florida home, law enforcement sources tell TMZ Sports.
46-year-old Piana has competed and won several bodybuilding competitions over the years -- including Mr. California -- and has become an Instagram sensation, racking up more than 1 million followers.
Law enforcement sources tell us ... emergency personnel responded to a possible overdose call at Piana's home on Monday afternoon. When they arrived, Piana was unresponsive and was transported to a nearby hospital where he was placed into a medically induced coma.
Unclear how he's doing now. We're working on the story.

Really dont like this guys attitude at times but I hope he recovers. He did seem did seem sincere and his 5% supplements are pretty good overall.

It's been seen in the fitness industry over and over . Rec drugs and anabolics . It's not the anabolics but the rec drugs that fuck these guys up . Who knows what he OD'd on . I've been seeing on YouTube many saying it was cocaine that he overdosed on ??? Well on one of the videos there are posts from 5% saying that Rich is doing better every day .

So is he alive ? I can't seem to find anything. I've been following him on YT but it's been awhile,.. that really sucks I got to liking the guy cause he's a no bulls#it and self made guy. I did have a feeling something's gonna happen with his health sooner or later. He's jus brutal on himself !

Yes he is alive. At pro-m there's a thread about it that they update constantly. Someone posted that his mom said on Facebook he opened his eyes yesterday I believe.

It's still hush hush. A lot of speculation about what happened. Everything from opiates to cocaine to stroke. All because there was 2 lines of white powder on the counter. He used to snort is preworkout powder there's a video of him doing it with Palumbo at his booth at a show. So until the police release the lab results nobody that actually knows isn't saying.
