i am familiar with this facility and staff. prison staff is shocked and did not see something like this happening to someone that thought he was gods gift.

There are 5-20 fights daily at souza max involving multiple cons at a time. It is a vicious cycle of revenge from actions on the inside and actions from the outside coming inside. Recently an all out riot broke out at souza where the staff was overwhelmed and the prison was quarantined and the cons were left to burn themselves out fighting each other and destruction of the prison. Those who wanted nothing to with it had no choice in the matter and could not be locked down cz there cell mates had scores to settle and tied the doors open to prevent them from going into lock down. The state police were called in and the facility was surrounded to monitor any possible escapees.

For what it is worth Aaron spent more visiting hours a week coloring with his daughter than some father's do in a lifetime. It seemed sincere for all those that witnessed it. Doesn't excuse him from what he did and that he belonged behind bars. But he loved his daughter and she is the one who is suffering most.
