The dealership let me take this 2012 Raptor home for the weekend. Ive been driving a 2000 chevy silverado which has cost me $3,000 in repairs over the last 2 months. I dont believe in buying cars, its the worst investment of money we can do. But I freakin love this raptor, but it means taking on a car payment for a while. If I get it, I will put some kind of exhaust on it. Maybe you truck guys can give me some ideas. Do any of you know much about these trucksx?
You should need to do anything to a raptor they come tricked out performance wise, I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure they come stock with a BORLA exhaust system which means if you change it out your losing, borla is top notch.
Ok I was wrong, most ppl add the " roush" exhaust to them after they buy them, but its actually a BORLA that makes the roush exhaust for these trucks. So that's what id go with if I was you, it's best quality and will last way longer than any other exhaust. Me I just put a knockoff muffler on my ford platinum for now until my wife will let me get the Borla cat back lol. Iv had three ford trucks and loved them all. And of course I can't drive stock trucks so I always lift them and buy wheels and tires on em lol.
Fuck growing up I would take that raptor to the creek and let it rip brother those trucks are suppose to be able to take the abuse that someone like me would put it through. So if tour going to treat it like a normal truck I think it would last a long time. I have a buddy that has a raptor and we have had all 4 tires off the ground more than once and I do mean at the same time
I guess my big question is "Is this truck overkill for a truck that will be a street /city truck 90% of the time??? I mean, it has all kinds of off road racing features, but am just wasting money on an off road racing truck that wont be off road much??

Probably but brother if you got it use it you might like it. You can do alot of 4 wheeling and not tear anything up. Us hillbillies tear it up every weekend even some evenings but still drive them to work everyday. If it's a good deal I would go for it it's a badass truck anyway you drive it
Ford trucks are the bomb. Easy and cheap to fix, that is if you ever have to. We have a crew cab 4x4 and love it. Get a good deal and you'll love it for a long time. Nothing better than seeing a buff good looking guy in a sexy truck like that one.
My ex girlfriend hates it. She says it looks like a truck a teenager would drive...She said I need a grown up type truck...Lmao...

Yep, If I change my mind, I can always trade & go more practical but I think if I buy this truck, I will probably put 200,000 + miles on it

I was looking at those myself and got an f150, I guess if I had another 10k I would have. Really nice looking ride and tough ! Yeah, if you're single get something that doesn't make ya look like "Dad".
