As some of you know I traveled to Oregon to have a softball camp at the Oregon Ducks Softball Campus at there University for my daughter who is 13 .OMG there coaching there hitting techniques and fielding techniques and throwing ust everything was go Damn good. 3 days of just Softball and the Mental game of Sofbtall and the conditioning they do I was in AWE. Now you know I brag about my daughter from time to time because she is a great Softball player and I'm not the easiest dad to please and have been very hard on her from time to time these past several yrs because I have seen the talent the gift she has. I played Baseball for 8 yrs and in a nut shell threw it away hung with wrong friends got in trouble but shit happens.I do not live through my daughter for Softball I see what she can become. And this camp was awesome. We got to meet and take pictures with the head coach the asst coaches all of them we met the softball team the trainers I'm in love with the Organization of Oregon Ducks lol. So anyway her traveling team now is in a mess The head coach doesn't do shit right,yells,swears,puts kids where they shouldn't play and doesn't take advice from me or the other 2 assts and we have a lot to bring especially what I ust learned over this past week.Doesnt bat the right batting order.He is a ego maniac a narcissist he is a laywer and has to always get the last word in and try to ne the big guy who knows everything and him and I have went at it before because I am a asst coach so he does take shit out on my daughter. Now I don't gloat but my daughter is the best hitter on the team and our head coach would always make our girls walk on egg shells and some get emotional after a strike out or a missed ball and a chain effect happens .Now I'm a team player so we don't quit but next year our organization has another 14u team and that team and coaches are excellent so my options are open.But back to the Ducks.My daughter was so relaxed this was a elite camp for softball players all the best girls come out.I would say 95 % of every girl can play real good and during practice and ive never seen this before from my daughter she was hitting 225ft bombs I was in a state of shock, where did this come from well a different atmosphere different coaches different players and during the scrimmage games she went 4 for 6. 1 triple 2 doubles a single a fly out to right and a ground out.She is a lead off hitter and they had her lead off and plays short stop and center. My daughter is super fast.Her Gymnastic back ground helps out a lot. So we had a great time and had fun and this camp put my daughter in a different level now in her head of what she learned especially the Mental game wow.I know I ranted but for thos that have kids and play sports and sme might want to do that when there in college or get a scholarship give them a little push
