Has been my lifelong coping skill. I wake up to it and go to bed to it. I like all kinds and bounce all over the place. Have seen so many bands. Think back and share with me the concerts you have been too. I forget all I have seen until I hear a song come on.

Re: Music
i am going through a super tough time right now. probably the most gut wrenching thing I have ever had to deal with. Music and training are my "go to" methods of maintaining sanity. If I am angry and resentful, no way to be mad when you listen to lionel ritchie (do not judge me)
and when i need to be motivated there is lots of great new music but i go back to metallica when they were good. and justice for all and earlier.

got paid triple time to work a rolling stones concert.. ya poor me..hahaha. it wasn't wild back stage those days ended long ago. food was great pretty chill atmosphere really. the band went right from limo to stage and after got right back into limo 50 foot or so from the back stage. their wives just chilled out at the limo the entire concert chatting. its all business with them these days.
the catered food was all the top resturants for the area. it was good and a lot. they do feed people right. after seeing what they see from the stage I see why people want to be rock stars.. its awesome to say the least

Re: Music
It really is amazing how music can change your mood. So many times I'm having a stressed out bad day, turn on some music I enjoy and within minutes I feel better. Even at the gym, I could be tired, worn out and down... but throw on the right music and I'm ready to kick ass.
It truly is food for the soul.

Re: Music
I used Bruce Springsteen music for years to inspire me. It was almost devastating when Springsteen betrayed his fans and did concerts to beg for votes for obama. One time I flew to New york just to see springsteen at madison square garden. I wish artists wouldnt ruin their image by getting political. If Springsteen would have stuck to singing, I might still go to his concerts and buy his music. Springsteen can go to hell as far as I am concerned
