I am a reader and have read a couple good ones. Anyone read one that they really took something from? I have one that I go back to so much that the book looks weathered, lol

Re: self help books
Most definitely dale carnegie. He was one of the early self help gurus. How to win friends and influence people!!! I found that book when I was 14 years old and read thru it with a fine tooth comb. One time I told my friends at school about the book, they all laughed. So from then on, that book was my secret weapon. Changed my life at 14 years old. I bet my old friends who laughed wish they had read that book now. lolOriginally posted by Yohimbe View PostI don't know if they're technically considered self help books, but I've read several by Dale Carnegie. I always take away a lot from his books.
