Cruz wins majority of delegates at Virginia convention
Cruz wins majority of delegates at Virginia convention
U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz has won the support of a majority of delegates up for grabs at a GOP convention in Virginia, delegates that could help decide the Republican presidential nominee if there's a contested national convention this summer.

Re: Cruz wins majority of delegates at Virginia convention
I think it is too little, too late. I think it will be a Trump / Clinton election contest. Trump is already starting to shift to being a centrist, which I knew he would do. To win the party nomination you must be an extremist, but to win the general election you must be a centrist. I am probably going to vote for trump mostly due to me wanting the economy finally fixed and a businessman is the best choice to do that. Also, I feel the need to vote against Hillary...she worries me.
But yeah, the election is looking like it will be between a self loving psychopath vs a "I am above the law and will have you killed if you start asking questions". Not sure if we can claim victory no matter who wins.

This delegate thing did the "second and third ballot " crap is a fallacy on our democracy. It makes no sense.
I'm AZ there's going to be a war if trump doesn't win. He won Az by a landslide but yest at Az republican convention the Az RNC voted Cruz for all the delegates if trump doesn't win first ballot. WTF!
I don't care who you vote for or want to win...that kind of system is not democracy...it's a bunch of old rich guys controlling our vote!

I agree. I think that's where the saying "presidents are selected not elected" comes from. it's good that they are being exposed on a national level with many people seeing it first hand now that Trump is saying it. A political insider would never expose this fraud that the two major parties have been pulling off for sometime now.
