When that place opened, I said no ****ing way am I ever going to a gym that doesnt allow deadlifting or grunting. lol...But I joined there last week to do cardio since they have about 500 cardio machines there and its open 24 hours. The place is huge and extremely clean.

As a gym, the place totally blows. No squat racks. A few dumbells and some cables. MAchines that are okay but I hate machines. So have to workout elsewhere, but for cardio and tons of hot chicks in yoga pants, its great!

Lol, if it comes with hot chicks in yoga pants sign me up. I have heard mixed reviews on the place. We don't have one in the town where I live but I was recently in Milwaukee and saw one. Place was huge! I will stick to the YMCA! Yes, I sang that in my head to the tune of the song

My friend goes there and honestly it is where she feels comfortable. She is trying to lose weight and it is hard enough for her to go to the gym and feel comfortable. I am glad there is a place like this for people to go. I don't make fun of anyone who goes anywhere to better themselves. there is somewhere fort everyone

One was built about 2 miles from where I go in the beginning of the summer.
I do my food shopping in the same plaza. The place is gigantic and the parking lot is full,
The price is right 20 a month and 30 a month unlimited Tanning .

Exactly right baby1. I go to a hard core gym and it is nowhere near as user friendly as Planet Fitness. 100% different atmosphere. I know a girl who was obese, she fell in love with planet fitness and is losing weight. I have to say, they do make it more comfortable for most folks. Theres something for everyone.

Yea not everybody will be as into it as us here. The ones I been to would be good for someone starting out. There's not much I could do with no squat rack no bench and just 70lb db.

Yeah we have a few where I live. Way too crowded. But nice inside. We are also getting a few Workout Anytime gyms opening soon. Alot like Planet Fitness I guess.

Workout Anytime gyms are open 24-hours, every day to help you meet your fitness goals. Cardio, personal training, tanning and more. Locations nationwide.

My son goes to my gym but decided to go with his girlfriend to the planet fitness she belongs to for the day to keep her company. Much like the start of my one visit there he got grief for wearing a tank top but the ridiculous thing was someone hit the lunk alarm and he was asked to leave because he hadn't really planned on "training" and so had worn jeans and as he was showing his girlfriend some exercises on the weight machines someone decided his jeans were going to cause too much wear and tear on the equipment. I'll never set foot in one of those so called gyms again.

I'm actually thrilled my gym went 24/7 a couple years ago. They're pretty cool on letting the members train as they like as long as they clean up after themselves with chalk and the like. Otherwise along the likes of Ronnie's old stomping grounds Metro Flex. Grunt, scream, lift as heavy as you like. I was doing 1100 pound leg presses last year and the only comments I got were hey do you want me to stand on that to add some more weight? And hey go lower with that weight bro. Can't beat the place other than the crazy old chick who is OCD in the treadmill lol

Honestly, I could work out anywhere. I am super focused when I do stuff so it feels like I am the only one there anyway. I do like going to a place with a bunch of old people though. real peeps not phony looking Barbie dolls that make me feel like I am at a club

I guess that style of gym caters to a different type of person. Id never go there, but i can relate to women liking it because you dont have meatheads like me checking out all the girls..
