That may be true for some. I am quite confident and ego is not my priority. My perspective it is about what is on the inside, however, it takes time to get to know that in people. Again, there is no right or wrong. Me personally, if I sense someone is so into themselves and a bit of a narcissist, my hopes for them is that will subside one day.

Confidence and ego are two different things. You can be confident in yourself and not be an A hole to other people. But somebody with an ego tends to put themselves above others. Nobody is better than anybody regardless of age, skin, Wealth or size, it's just the ppl with an ego that ( no self esteem ) that feel that have to put themselves above other people to make there inner selves feel better. Ego goes beyond confidence and a positive attitude about ones self, it crosses the line of doucheness lol

100% whole hearedly agree with both you and smalls. constant pics of oneself and what one is doing is screaming attention and an attention ***** imho. if you arent doing it for yourself then you may quite possibly have issues.

So I posted this a few weeks ago, and thought a bit about what Rake posted here. Now we def don't always agree, but I appreciate others perspectives on things and then I think. Fuzo has been watching many McGregor videos, and I will overhear them while he is listening to them. I thought "Wow that guy is so egotistical". Then yesterday I came across an interview he had , I listened and realized maybe my perspective of what EGO is might be something different. I now have a different view on this fighter, and a better understanding of what Rake meant. My confusion, with egoism, actually was me thinking more on the lines of narcissism. To much of anything is no good. A healthy balance and love of oneself is not having a big EGO. Some just choose to scream it out, and some are more reserved. That's me ...taking it all in even when I don't agree, and trying to learn! Thanks guys and thanks to Rake, who reminds me of my fuzo sometimes! Fuzo and I are very opposite but we continue to learn from each other, not without a fight sometimes though
