I bought 2 gerbils 2 years ago and one just kicked the bucket.If you look at the 2, 1 of them was so skinny and the one that died was huge.There names are kane and teows and teows went to gerbil heaven. Now kane he is the playful one he will let ya take him out of the cage play with him it seems he is up all night riding his wheel.The other one wasn't playful. A year ago I had to put them in separate cages because they would fight so bad. So off to gerbil heaven Teows

are gerbils good pets? i always thought of them as jumpy rats. although i hear rats are smart and make good pets.
