A majority of gun incidents I've had the bad guy - idiot did not have a gun he obtained legally. Criminals don't obtain anything legally a why would they a gun? This isn't rocket science

          Re: mass shootings

Am concerned that Obama is going to do something extreme in his last year to try and ban guns. He might use the UN and international law if he has to. Wouldnt put it past him to even use the military to disarm america. Crazy? No, nothing should surprise us with this jerk off

            Re: mass shootings

That's the first brilliant answer asshole Obama came up with to the people up here in Eugene. This kid had bigtime problems all his life, blamed and hated everybody for the way he was ! His mother was a gun pig and kept a pretty good cache of weapons, in a two bedroom apartment with a kid who bangs his his head in the wall ! and spends days on end holed up in his room jacking off and playing Halo ! Dumb Broad ! Then the other answer was to encourage these college kids to all get a CCL ? and do what ?

another thing to point out is that almost all the mass shootings took place in gun free zone's

I read an article today that said that almost every single one of these mass shooters has been fatherless. By destroying th e family unit, we now have these lunatics, and yet this idiot president wants to blame guns so he can ram his agenda down our throat

So what we have learned in this thread is the decay of family values,

the idea that taking an inanimate object from the 99.99% of people who legally purchase and use is the ticket to stopping gun violence according to anti gunners,

obama will never left a good tragedy go un-exploited,

people in the ghetto shooting each other is OK to the media but not when it is a crazy person who shoots many,

these mass shooters are all on anti anxiety, anti-psychotic, anti, depression ect. meds,

anti gunners do not use logic but make decisions based on emotion,

guns are a political tool for both sides to exploit,

guns save lives every day but that does not make the news,

murder is illegal so criminals most likely (sarcasm they will not) will not obey more laws or turn in illegal guns,

2nd amendment is in jeopardy, if the libs ever get the power to change our constitution look out, no more free speech ect (might offend someone),

media makes these guys out as the worst villans and anti heroes. some people revel in that, the disillusioned, the mentally ill, ect. the media holds some blame but who will hold them responsible? no one. they control what we see and how we see it,

worst mass murder at a school, not by a gun https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bath_School_disaster. dont forget it was not guns that brough down the towers or destroyed the A. P. Muttah building in OKC. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfred...deral_Building

mass shootings have exponentially increased since the 70s. why? re read the above. as times chance our society has changed and not for the good.

technology has interrupted how me interact and communicate, we teach children they are all winners until they learn later that you do not get a trophy for half assing and 100% effort is TOO HARD!, drugging children rather than disciplining them, my ADHD went away after a good ass whipping and i am not violent. there is no discipline or respect for others. kids are not responsible for their actions, it is always a learning disability even though it is a respect and discipline prob.

                    respect for others............

                      Re: mass shootings

Last night I saw 3 previews in a row for tv shows. EVERY single show was a crime drama about gun violence and murder. We are a culture that loves violence for entertainment. Maybe its just human nature to be blood thirsty

No, and it is for security purposes for my own mental stability. PTSD will really fuck me up without medications and therapy. But I am doing very well as long as myself or my wife keeps me in check. It hurts to say that I cannot defend us if ever I need a weapon, but it is the truth. I am blessed to live in a town and community that does not have to worry about defending our homes and ourselves. Not yet anyway!
I want to say it's an honor having you here. My respect for military personnel is beyond what words can describe. And many ppl have such an imbalance that antidepressants are necessary! Never ever feel bad about that. You are not what we are all referring to! Over medicating those who may not have that imbalance can cause unbelievable side effects. My old job had me studying the effects of Rx drugs On the population and it's staggering.
