SPIRIT airlines

Who has flown them? I need to book flights and they are dirt cheap so I am wondering what the catch is?

I cant reeber what line it was the last time I flew?? We had such a long delay and it was a small plane with not many passengers. The pilot gave everyone free snacks and as many drinks as we wanted. That may have had something to do with it lol.

Spirit and aligiant are pretty similar spirit recently went to the major airports the planes are older and a bit less comfort driven. No matter what you use they pack you like sardines , short trips a fine I have never had an issue. Take them over american any day of the week. Southwest is my go to they have always done me right

Mom uses spirit air lines to go to mexico and back.. she says they are good but then again its like you said. they are cheap ..

Been on spirit airlines many times. Yes...packed like sardines...but way cheaper than other airlines...

I use American and southwest for business travel.....and I use the points from American for freebies when I get enough points..

I hate flying only because of the sardine effect......its on every airline no matter who you fly...I always try to get the reservations in early to get a seat by the escape door or next to window...at around 290 now, everytime I walk in the plane the people sitting down already are thinking....I hope that mf isn't sitting next to me....lol

We use Spirit all the time .the cheapest flight we ever goten to Fla was 12 bucks
At that time we belonged to there 9 dollor flight club.
It is a no frills Company . Small seats very small seat
Rows of 3 per side we fly from Atlantic City to Miami about 7 times a yr
Can't beat the prices that's for sure
We are not in the 9 dollar club any more I think it was 60.00 a yr
We found going to the airport to buy tickets were cheeper then on line

I dont know much about Spirit, but I have a friend who recently had a horrible experience with Spirit. He said whatever you do, dont ever fly Spirit airlines lol
