Long ass week.

12 days straight at work ends Friday. Need the weekend break. Shitty week being topped off by getting passed over for promotion for this asshat who posted for a foreman position back in 2005 and after 3 weeks ended up in therapy and after 5 weeks asked for his old job back resulting in guy they hired for his previous position getting fired so he could step down. This guy just posted for the lab head position that requires more pressure and responsibility than previous foreman position he tried. DEP audits, traveling for conferences etc. nice to hear the superintendent has more faith in this dick than me. Nice when you get an 'atta boy keep being a peon in the lab while this guy gets promoted over you and oh by the way keep smiling and be a team player now. M'kay..... Not

I feel ya bro I just quite a job I was at for 9'years they cut my pa said I was making too much been struggling just to pay bills I got feed up quite Thursday had a better paying new job Friday. I really hope ur week and weekend get better for u my brother.

That is the truth bro my old company killed my pay 1-1/2 year ago I stuck around my wife finally got pissed and I moved on thank god she talked some seance into me.

Brutha I feel ya, for me I think we get comfortable and with that become complacent when all the chips are out of our hands.. I never give my chips .. today my boss knows as long as honesty and fairness are present so shall I unless I find a better job cause I look .. work is a give take relationship

if he's anything like the pecker heads I have delt with he stays late or gets there earlier than the boss then immediately takes credit for work he hasn't done while filling the bosses ear with trival work place gossip and his false team spirit crap knowing hes out to stab you in the back for a at a boy or promotion.
some folks cant smell crap even after they step in it..

Actually he's one of last ones in, usually after start time. Got a lil insight into the boss's mindset I think. This guy stays in position after 30 days and can't hang he can't go back to his old job again. Which means early retirement and boss (as several of us believe) is getting ready to have his son, who works in the field several towns over slide into the vacated position of the promoted guy. He's already asked if I don't think the position which I am also working should only require a grade 4 wastewater license instead of the grade 5 I have and also doesn't think it should require a cdl class B license. Told him I was required to obtain both within a year of taking the position. He's still trying to get requirements lowered to what his kid has and said he'd get me a stipend for holding higher licenses. Woo hoo a whole 40 cents more an hour for a class B and a grade 5? No thanks. We'll let the union fight you on downgrading the requirements thank you. And as I said when this guy fails at this job don't expect me to repost for the job. Ain't nobodies stand by *****.

Shitty thing is the superintendent will turn his head to the conflict of interest in my boss hiring his kid like he did when the office manager he's dating hired her ex husbands company as independent contractors to help the Dpw plow in the winter yet we have to take a state ethics exam every year to work for the city. Love it
