Association board

So I have been on the board where we live for about 6 years now. When I first got on I apparently asked to many questions and wanted to know where this money was going and all that fun stuff. They didn't like that. They tried to get rid of me, sent me lawyer letters, demanded I resign...because I am not a quitter and I had Fuzo and mini in my corner reminding me of that, I stayed on. I am glad I did and I have been part of some great changes/decisions where we live. I have been the treasurer and currently there is just myself and 2 other guys on the board. They finally pretty much go along with me because the one doesn't even reside here and the other is hardly home. So the PM and I, have become quite close and we get shit done around here. They have been hinting for me to step up and take the position of President which really only means I would sign more things, lol. Probably not any more than I do now though. I just don't think I want to though cause the Pres leads the homeowner meetings and I am finding it harder these days to bite my tongue with *****ing people. Fuzo says YES...I say I think I will stay where I am??? Oh and this is completely a no pay thing but it is where we have lived for a long time and I want to be part of what's going on and keeping things running great around here. We just got done with a 1.2 million balcony renovation and did not have to charge the homeowners any special assessment at all...how's that for handling reserves well

nice to see someone doing their job at that baby1 and on top of that not being compensated for it. our group is absolutely worthless. a friend of mine came on board when he first retired and took all the book keeping stuff to an accountant. well needless to say the last treasurer got some jail time on that deal. step up and take over if you have the time and drive.

If it was me I'd stay right where you're at or if run my mouth cuz I'm alergic to stupid people lol.

Btw if you guys have any projects that need to get done or bid on let me know, I have friends in all places from snow removal/property management to contractors, concrete work, electricians and more.

I feel I have a vested interest in where we live and this is how I can be involved, know what's going on and be a part of changing things. I even help out the PM when things get overloaded. Fuzo sometimes tells me that it is just the way it is here, and I disagree, I have and know I can make changes here cause I have already done that. I am not a person who just "settles" for things the way they are. We have over 330 units here and several buildings so there is a quite a bit of people. Have to tell you that our building is the best one, lol.
