Re: do you like your job?
I love what I do, computer networking. I love the pay, the flexible hours, the ability to work from home almost all the time, and my coworkers. I dislike the leaders of the corporation and all the crap they spew downhill. I would rate my job as a 9.

Re: do you like your job?
Gotta rate my job at 8.5. I really enjoy machining on manual equipment but I'm getting into CNC turning. I could get paid more in other places but that's not the real issue. I'm constantly in a learning state, and that's what I'm after; progressive challenges.

Re: do you like your job?
I am disabled because of back problems. I have developed other problems since then. I train to keep fit and build muscle. Volunteer at PAC where they do plays. Also run errands for others not as mobile as myself.
The money I get is terrible but I do meet lots of people.
Very hard to rate it though.

Re: do you like your job?
I'd put min at a 9. I've been at my job for almost 10 years and couldn't imagine doing anything else. I"m buried in spreadsheets all day every day, but I love it lol.

Re: do you like your job?
my old job I was at for 14 years until last year. the owners and I had some difference and they let me go. that job was maybe a 6. the new place I went to is a large diesel shop they are a cummins dealer along with other large diesel engine dealers... I went there to run the service dept and after being there 3 months they fired my boss who had a lot of problems and made me the branch manger so now I make the decisions on what we do and that is a lot better. so my pay as went way up and now the buck stops with me and I love that.. so now I would rate my job a 8 or 9..I know how much money we made how much money we spent how much money we have in the checking account everything.. there is no owner telling me we aren't making any money when I ask for something...
the old place had huge problems and they didn't want to fix anything didn't want to spend any money on tools or equipment then ***** at me asking why shop productive is down?????? we duh don't have the tools or equipment we need...
the new place has been open for over 20yrs and has never done over 300k in sales a month since I took over last year we've done over 300k per month 2 times this year....

Re: do you like your job?
I'd put ny job at a 7. I really like it. Pretty good pay and I enjoy stepping back and admiring the finished product. Architectural metal and glass. If not for the danger and temporary layoffs..id say 10.

No I was not but I have a Cosmetologist license that I have had since 1987. Back then we were taught and licensed in areas of esthetics, massage, nails, etc so that is how I have the experience with skin related things. Not a doctor thoughOriginally posted by roidboy175 View PostWere you not a dermatologist at one time ? Re: do you like your job?
My current job has become very predatory and political 2.. and they dicked my check AFTER I commited still good money but thats why its a 2.
my opinion the employment landscape has changed drastically these last few years not for the better. Im looking for new opportunities everyday and after this run will commit to change. Just need the cash... all I want is to not be miserable I dont need to de rich.. got all the toys I want and am old enough to know what not to get

Re: do you like your job?
For the past 2 and a half years i've worked at Lowe's in the outside garden . The summer months can be brutal and the heavy lifting has done a number on my back , but I hold up no matter what . I have been trying to get in the school system and just received a call today for an interview next Monday . At least it's full time with benefits .

I have been blessed to love all jobs I have done in my life.
My job now a BIG 10! Over the past years..an 8
