For many this is a weekend of bbq, fun and extra days off from work. When we stop and think of the real meaning, "A time or remembrance for those who have died while protecting our country". I like to think of it as a day of being thankful to all who have served and do serve. I have to admit for a minute I was like 'shit we have nowhere to go on this long weekend'. Then I thought, this isn't a holiday so count your blessings and always be thankful.
So raise your glass, or look up to the sky and say 'thank you' on this weekend of remembrance.
