Our Easter family day almost exploded into a fight

You know what sucks? Its people who become a part of your family through your brother marrying a girl whos family is a bunch of freakin whackos. And for 20 years, every holiday, I have to see these people , who are not related to me other than through marriage. I have to be nice and I always am, even though I always hope they dont show up. Well, this dude, who is my brothers wifes brother, he is a fat slob, morbid obesity, is some kind of professor of psychology or some kind of shit and is , of course, a hard core liberal. He overhears me and my brothers talking, anti obama stuff of course, and he butts in and starts trying to take over , saying we are being manipulated into hating obama and that I am being "played". After I somewhat told him off and put him in his place, we all went outside to play some basketball , all except for the fat slob know it all, he';s too fat and out of shape to shoot baskets, he stayed in the house with the women. We shot baskets and continued our discussion of all things anti obama without interference by some idiot. lol

there is always one. it's funny how people who are apt to tell you that you are being manipulated into thinking a certain way are indeed themselves in that boat.

hey both parties use manipulation and scare tactics to get people motivated for voting and it is the best for donations. $$$ is what runs washington. by the people for the people? not any more. it is by the $$$ for the special interest.

Politics usually seems to come up somewhere in our family too. The good thing is I think we are all pretty much anti Obama. Fuzo stayed home so not much politics talk yesterday

LOL...Exactly baby. I mumbled under my breath to my brother "lets go outside and play basketball", I know if I had stayed inside, I was going to let him have it with both barrels . lol...Yes, in laws, thats what you call them. When its just my blood relatives, we can talk about the islamic president all we want, but because of this guy, we know we have to restrain ourselves or it will turn out ugly. There are some situations where religion or politics are topics to avoid. We usually do for the most part.
