that is awesome. i have a lot of respect for bowhunters. sitting in a blind with a badass rifle with high power glass on top is not really hunting. it is simply killing. the odds are way too far in the hunter's favor.
now bow, arrows are relatively slow. heavily effected by wind, extremely limited range. they drop quickly. puts a lot more on the hunter to make a clean shot

I love going out with my bow. The deer seem to know it's gun season and lay pretty low. I don't gun hunt a lot but I have way better luck during bow season.
Here they have the season so the whole rut is during bow season. Thats when the lady's get the big boys into trouble. Any other time of year they are hard to kill!
