If you are having trouble staying logged in when navigating between forums/topics/etc., you need to reset your session cookie. Go into your browser and delete any cookie for the site them log back in. This should fix the login issue.
Got a chevy silverado and wondering if it will sound better if I just cut the muffler off and go with a straight pipe. Anyone done this? Or should I get a Flowmaster? Ive heard it sounds just as good to cut off the muffler. We dont have any laws against it where I live.

LOL...very redneck loud haha..well, I bought this 2000 Chevy Silverado just as a backup to my car, and as a farm truck. I didnt think I would be driving it so much, but I have driven it nonstop since I got it 3 weeks ago. I even took a girl out the other night in it lol...Now that I am driving it more than I thought, maybe I should just leave the muffler on it. I dunno. But I just like a truck to sound like a truck, not some Prius. lol
If you dont have smog requirements then hit a muffler shop up for best solution where you get good sound and horsepower. Sometimes just cutting things out creates problems. All the stupid sensor crap and computer. If it where really old i know you could just cut it out

ye au mite not be able to passs inspection, guessing on that one..... i say cut the thing off and if u like it epic if not go the other route.. you dont have to choose :P

Then it can drown out those Stupid Rice Burners the Spanish people drive !!! Stupid ass low riding cars that are loud as fuck and make my car alarm go off every time they drive by. Plus their system is so loud and it usually costs more than the car itself .

flowmasters are too expensive. had them on the GTO and they sounded awesome. found these that are basically a flowmaster 40 ripoff. they have a deep sound and reduce drone you get if you go straight pipe.

Don't worry about a noise ticket I have a M3 with a full race exhaust and it's obnoxious and I've passed cops. It gives them a reason to pull you over though. I personally would get rid of the catalytic converter and run and flomaster. I'm sure what your computer would do.
