So I'm going through the daily routine. Caffeine-ated check. Intra-workout drink prepped, check. Now I'm on the road to pick the kids up from school and hit the gym.
Halfway to the gym I realize I left my intra-workout at home. I blurted out some expletive I don't know which one but my 6 year old says, "what's wrong daddy?" Feeling a little foolish I replied, "oh nothing babes, daddy just forgot his drink at home." Without skipping a beat she looks at me and says, "I don't think that's a good reason to get so mad." As that's setting in my 5 year old says, "ya daddy do you need a time out!" Lol! Sometimes perspective is everything.
