right on man, i love mountain biking. what did you get? I've got a trek hard tail, nothing too fancy but serves its purpose well. I'm running kenda small block 8 tires and am pretty happy with them. they're a good fast rolling tire, but also have a good amount of grip.

Eventually, if there isn't deep integrity and fundamental character strength, the challenges of life will cause true motives to surface and human relationship failure will replace short-term success.
There is an idea of who I am: some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me; only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel my flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.
Im going to ride that 401 trail next summer. That is awesome. Thanks for posting that.
I live 30 minutes from the mountains on a small tree farm. Before I started farming this land, I used to go to the mountains every weekend. Some time down the road I would like to get a cabin in the mountains. I got to save some money

bro, let me know how that ride goes! no joke it's been on my radar for about 4 years, i can just never escape the daily grind and get down there to ride it. in a perfect world i'd meet you there so we could hit it up. camelbak, spare tubes, tire irons, and a camera have got to be essentials lol.

LOL at BABY! That just looks amazing and thanks for sharing. This is as close as I've been to seeing any mountains. I would love to live near some place like that. Way better than the south east side of Chicago! You're a lucky man. Maybe some day for me, but for now it's smoggy buildings and the inside of a factory for me.

better hurry up, seasons about to be over for you, your gonna have to start looking down south for any action. what brand bike you got?
I bought a Diamonback mountain bike. 29 inch wheels. Its not a real high dollar bike, but it got me started. I bought it on memorial day and didnt ride nearly enough this summer.

"not a real high dollar bike" come on now, i dont have a real expensive bike either. i mean who has 5 to 10 grand to drop on a piece of equipment like that anywase unless your an avid competitor. ive got a canondale, super light weight, but its got like 20 years on it. i would say 99 percent original parts including the chain.
the handle bar grips have turned into this real sticky nasty goop that i just covered up with some athletic tape, the chain is stretched to where the chain will catch on itself in certain gears. its a 3 x 7 and the derailer doesnt even switch properly so im stuck using a single setting out of the 3. the brake pads glide the bike to a stop. no shocks so im riding old school, but man let me tell you i ride the shit out of that bike.
