I don't Facebook at all. I used to have an account. I used it rarely, but no more. I heard of the recent messenger controversy and that's just so far from cool to me. I'm glad to say I have nothing to do with that whole Facef*$# site anymore.
No one knows the truth and all rumors but it does it up your gigs.everyone that has a phone are you worried about your phone because if your worried about Facebook worry about your phone as well then.
I'm not a big FB guy at all....I have messenger just in case someone needs to reach me that doesn't have my phone number...but now I want to delete that...
My ex and I broke up over facebook..I refused to post nonstop about our activities and she hated that...If I am going to the gym, why do I need to tell the world?! I have had nothing but issues putting too many personal things online lol...break-ins when I post about traveling, drama with ppl when I post personal problems, you name it...
myself or my wife don't have face book pages never had and never will. her daughter who is 22 now had one a few years back and man the bullshit that brought is unreal. I told her simple delete the FB page and all the bs will also stop...
I've seen nothing but bad come from that site. People trying to hook up with others that shouldn't be and so on...a bunch of scandalous activity. But, there are some decent people on there too of course.
There's no good reason an ex-flame needs to be 'kickin-it' on Facebook with a person that's in a solid new relationship.
Baby, you use FB the way people I think were meant to lol....But the rants about ex-wives, non-stop bullshit selfies, etc etc etc is crazy! lol
Hell, one time i was at a conference and you messaged me to say hi and it was exactly what I needed...I can get mad anxiety doing big social events so Thank You for getting me out of myself that day lol
Can you deactivate facebook? I am seriously thinking I will. Facebook keeps making changes and every change seems to be designed to take away more and more of our privacy. Seems like Facebook doesnt want anyone to have anything private. They want your whole life exposed as much as possible.
yes you can temp deactivate without losing everything...i do this periodically as a forced break and also trying to ween off facebook addiction...there's enough real world drama that i don't need facebook drama and those who need to talk to me either have my number or know how else to contact me...
How do I deactivate my account?
Deactivate to turn off your account for as long as you want:
Click the account menu at the top right of any Facebook page
Select Settings
Click Security in the left column
Click Deactivate your account
When you deactivate your account, your profile and all information associated with it disappears from Facebook immediately. People on Facebook will not be able to search for you or view any of your information.
If you’d like to come back to Facebook anytime after you’ve deactivated your account, you can reactivate your account by logging in with your email and password. Your profile will be restored in its entirety (ex: friends, photos and interests). Remember that you will need to have access to the login email address for your account in order to reactivate it.
To permanently delete your account:
Permanently deleting your account means you will not ever be able to reactivate or retrieve any of the content or information you've added. If you would like your account permanently deleted with no option for recovery, please contact us.
Note: Facebook does not use content associated with accounts that have been deactivated or deleted.
If you can't get into your account, you can reset your password.
