Since everyone is different, and things like age, nutrition etc play a factor, how long does it take your body to heal a sprain? Like 6 weeks? Im a little concerned because I sprained my right middle finger(MCP joint) lifting an old tv set into a truck. 2 weeks ago. It is kind of hampering my workouts and it is still swollen and still hurts to grip hard. Only thing I have done is to move the joint actively back and forth as much as I can. Dammit

Did you get it xrayed dzone? I don't think anyone can really put a time on how long. being that it is your finger and you have to use it on a daily bases, it will probably take longer.Veritas Vos Liberabit

Originally posted by Dzone View PostI know. Very frustrating. Other than squats, every exercise is painful and makes my finger hurt like hell. Ive tried to soldier on and ignore it, but it is probably keeping it inflamed. I need to get some enzyme tabs like wobenzyme and take a whole bottle over 2 or 3 days, but they are crazy expensiveVeritas Vos Liberabit
