i dont care how you slice it. this was completely wrong in so many ways. i also know that these guys dont keep the all american white boy for years for no reason. they cut your head off for their propaganda videos in a very short period of time. this is a crime and everyone involved should be dealt with the max punishment from the top down

This guy should be charged and Obama should
Be impeached. Just read and article today that doe ops groups knew of his whereabouts but did not want to risk valuable teammates and assets for a deserter.

OH and the fact that the Obama administration is calling the people on his post who are speaking out on his desertion and physcopaths

couldnt agree more and they did lose 6-12 guys in the begining looking for his stupid ass. i would have let him rot. sad fact of the matter is they will never reveal the truth just like everything else that has happened and that guy will prob walk away scott free

The Taliban found Pfc. Bowe Bergdahl walking alone, acting abnormally and cursing his countrymen before they captured him in Afghanistan in 2009, two men who were Taliban commanders at the time told NBC News on Thursday.

They said that Afghan locals first informed fighters about the soldier, and then the fighters rushed to capture him.

“Our people at the time couldn’t understand his language, but it was after he was shifted to a safe location, he said he wasn’t happy with his countrymen, but he didn’t intend to convert to Islam or join mujahideen (holy warriors),” one of the commanders said.

The commanders said that Taliban officers first thought it was a trick — perhaps an American soldier sent out alone to spy on the enemy.

“As we never saw their soldier patrolling alone … we would ask him how he managed to walk out of his base,” one of the commanders said. “He would tell us that it was personal issue.”

they are leaving out the report about the talies radio traffic about an american looking to link up with the tallies in the area. this was intercepted by the radio geeks working the post where he walked out of. it's amazing how no one is putting 2 and 2 together on why they never chopped off his head. these are hard core zealots that had him not a bunch of local american haters. he was aiding them with something to still be here and that's a fact because it has always been our policy not to negotiate. not to mention these guys arent stupid and know we will send in the bad boys in black to rescue people and they know we will find them eventually

I heard about that and Thats the first thing i said. Most people wont last more then 5 days before you are slaughtered brutally but he lasted 5 years?

the lethal and critical strikes on vehicles and troops in the area increased immediately following him leaving between 30-60%. that is a puzzling hike in a very short time frame to me. now me being familiar with the military justice system and how this admin works. i can foresee this just disappearing away and congress will press it. then they will delay it until the time runs out on it. just like the embassy. they will drag their feet and he will roam free and vanish from the picture completely scott free

I heard that as well and i agree 100% obama wants to paint him as a hero to make himself look good i think this one backfired. All the shit thats happened i cant believe this guy is not only still in office but not in jail
